A vendor has donated hundreds of brand new, (still in the box), scratching posts, for us to use for fundraising. We are asking for a donation of 15- 35 dollars per post, depending on the size this is equal to approx 50% off COST of each item. Action For Animals In Distress Society is a registered non-profit organization located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Action is dedicated and committed to the needs of homeless, abandoned, neglected, sick and injured animals.

As you explore our site, you will discover what we do, and how you can help. At present, Action for Animals rescues animals in distress and provides food, shelter, medical care, love and attention to animals who would otherwise face starvation and an early and often painful death.

The goals for Action For Animals In Distress Society are as follows:

To rescue and provide immediate medical care.
To spay, neuter and vaccinate.
To rehabilitate both psychologically and physically.
To find loving homes for those who can be adopted.
Animals unsuitable for adoption will live out their lives in peace and with dignity in the homes of Action Members.
To diligently work towards acquiring funding for the purpose of building a no-kill shelter for abandoned and abused animals.
To operate a shelter where all animals in our care will be safe and protected
