.....Introduction

We are so pleased to have been invited into so many homes to care for your pets. We have fallen in love many times over with numerous fur-clients, and we look forward to meeting more fur-friends in the future. My name is Kristin Schumacher and I am the owner/operator of Kitty Kompany Professional Pet Sitting Services. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how lucky I am to be able to pet a cat, walk a dog, feed a fish or talk to a bird for a living. It is a dream come true. We currently care for over 2000 fur kids, (some feathered and finned, too), and are thrilled to have over 800 households that are regular clients. Last year we did over 4500 home visits!

As the owner of Kitty Kompany I feel it is important to give back to the community. As a result I have spend several years working with both the Royal City Humane Society and Action for Animals in Distress Society. At this point I have decided to move in a different direction and work with an up and coming new registered charity named Vetea based in New Westminster. We will be focusing on education, especially in schools, and also fund raising to help those people keep their pets when a medical crisis arises that they may not otherwise be able to afford. Kitty Kompany is also working on starting a web site to help people who have had their pets go missing and likewise for people who have found pets. Many of the people who work with Kitty Kompany also volunteer with animal shelters as well. Keep you eyes peeled for "Helpmefindmypet.ca" my new "pet" project.
